Even with a quality product, improper installation could result in building code violations, air infiltration, and more importantly, water infiltration that could damage the structure of your home. Good windows and doors – properly installed – add to the comfort, energy efficiency, security and beauty of your home.
WELDA Windows and Doors has over 25 years of experience in the installation of windows and doors. WELDA employs teams of highly trained, experienced window installation technicians. They are intimately familiar with our windows and the precise way in which they should be installed. They can even create a new opening to install a window or door where none presently exists.
After the contract is signed our Technical Measure Specialist will contact you within 5 to 7 business days. From the date of the final measure it will take approximately 3 to 6 weeks before you are contacted to set up an installation date. Once your windows are ready to be installed our installation department will work with you to determine a date that will accommodate your availability.

Replacement Window Installation Methods
• Insert Window Installation or Retrofit Installation - inserting the new window in the existing frame.
Pros: less money. Cons: you are putting a window inside a window so you also loose viewing area.
• Full Frame Window Installation or Full Tear Out Installation - replacing the entire window, including its frame.
Pros: the better method of installation and maintain viewing area.
Cons: more product, more materials, more labour = more money.
At the completion of the installation our installers will remove all debris associated with the replacement. They will then have you sign an installation completion form, which signifies your satisfactions with the purchase. Following the installation you will make your final payment to the installer. Most installations are completed in one day.
