2025 Enbridge Gas Ontario Rebates for Windows Replacement
As of February 2025, Enbridge Gas in Ontario has moved from the Home Efficiency Rebate (HER) program to the newly introduced Home Renovation Savings™ program, which started on January 28, 2025. This initiative is a partnership between Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy, designed to offer improved rebates and greater flexibility for homeowners making energy-efficient improvements.
Rebates for Window Replacements
Homeowners participating in the Home Renovation Savings™ program can earn rebates for installing ENERGY STAR® certified windows. Typically, upgrading to ENERGY STAR® certified windows from older models can result in considerable energy savings and enhanced comfort in your home.
Requirements for Eligibility
To be eligible for rebates on window replacement:
- Homeownership: You must own the home where the upgrades are being implemented.
- Primary Heating Source: Your home should be primarily heated with natural gas supplied by Enbridge Gas.
- Pre- and Post-Retrofit Energy Assessments: Conduct energy evaluations before and after the upgrades by an approved energy advisor to verify improvements.
